Although the team of LMI-UK Franchise Directors meet regularly to share best practice and success stories, it’s good to meet for purely social reasons and enjoy a bit of festive cheer.
This year’s Christmas Party was held at the stunning 4-star Ardencote Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire and proved a big hit with all who attended.Franchise directors were well represented as where the support teams that help the business run smoothly.
Dressed to impress, the team met first for pre-dinner drinks hosted by the head of LMI-UK, Ray King and his delightful wife, Caroline. With Ray footing the bill, the evenings merriment got off to an impressive start as the beer, wine and cocktails flowed.
Helping people develop their potential and become more productive in their working lives requires a lot of hard work from the Franchise Directors, so it was nice to see so many in relaxed mood.
A sumptuous three-course dinner, with plenty of wine was next on the agenda, with everyone knowing their menu choices thanks to Jill, who organised everything with her usual lack of drama.
The raucous party got in to full-swing after dinner, when the excellent disco fired-up and the eighties hits got even the most curmudgeonly non-dancers out onto the dance floor to throw a few shapes – you know who you are!
The evening can best be summed up in the words of those who attended, with Roger Waplington saying: “Ray, Carol and I thank you and Caroline for your kind hospitality. We had a lovely time, celebrating a successful team year with fun and style. The LMI way.”
Franchise Director Karl Gasson commented: “Michelle and I both had an excellent evening, thank you to you and Caroline.” A sentiment echoed by Franchise Director Nick Howes: “Fantastic to end the year with our wonderful LMI-UK friends. Great people having a great time together!”
David Bailey, attending his first LMI-UK Christmas Party said: “Just a quick word to say thanks for Saturday. It was really good fun and it was nice to meet everyone…..yes everyone! Shame more couldn’t join us, but all the new Franchise Directors who will join in 2019 will make next year’s party even bigger and better.”
The final words on the event must go to Ray King, who planned the evening: “Many years ago, when l lived in Hong Kong and ran Asia and China for a German Swiss Company, l promised myself that should the opportunity ever exist l would always have a Christmas Party to thank the team for all their endeavours and hard work.
For such a small investment it’s worth every penny, plus my wife and l enjoy it also. I am pleased to say yet again our 2018 Xmas Dinner and Dance was a wonderful success both as a festive event and for building new bonds amongst the team.”
We couldn’t have put it any better.
